Borders Bivvy and Breakfast

This experience is a single night micro-adventure set in the iconic Eildon Hills, which stand over the historic Borders town of Melrose.  Bed and breakfast with a difference!

Why not escape the city for a night under the stars?  Catch a train on the scenic Borders Railway to the heart of the Scottish Borders for a bit of adventure.

In this micro-adventure you will experience adventure without having to trek into the wilderness, carry lots of stuff or stay away too long.

Melrose is a short bus ride from the station. After you have eaten well and braced yourself for a night in the outdoors you will meet your guide.  We will then walk up into the Eildons (about a 1 hour walk) to find a sheltered spot for the night!

The early summer sun will wake and slowly warm you before we return to Melrose to recuperate with a cooked breakfast and coffee.

With all other essential equipment provided, you will just need a sleeping bag, warm clothes and a sense of (micro)adventure.
